particles - ~にしては vs. ~としては


I know one implies the thing I'm comparing actually is the thing I'm comparing it to, and the other doesn't.


Can someone suggest an easy example or trick for remembering which is which?

Apparently the of last four, $\ce{Mg^2+}$ is closest in radius to $\ce{Li+}$. Is this true, and if so, why would a whole larger shell ($\ce{...
