physical chemistry - How does radiocarbon dating work?


I'd like to better understand radiocarbon dating, however, I do not know what resources I must use in this regard. Could someone walk me through the process of radiocarbon dating with a few examples? (I'm already well-versed with the basics of nuclear chemistry).
