grammar - Is the 「て」 missing from 「され」 in this sentence?

Here is the sentence.

ソフトのプレイ中にHOMEボタンを押すと、ソフトが中断されHOMEメニューが表示されます。

I think 「て」 should follow the verb 「中断され」 to create conjunctive/continuative form.
